As Joseph di Blasi from Vinosseur puts it: Only 10 minutes opened, and already drinkable. If I had 2 bottles, I would let it lay another 10 years. Fruit still dominates the wine, but not over the top. Good vintage, good producer, good terroir, no surprise. He adds: The wine opened quickly giving way to some ripe raspberries. Oak was rather well integrated at this point. The acidity was not quite as focused as I had expected, allowing the fruit to dominate.
The fruit, though it dominated, did not impress me. I suppose 10 more years may show otherwise. At the 569,- NOK (about 280pln) I paid for it, it underperformed in my opinion and was certainly not the most interesting wine of the night. Six then;)
